Episode 7! Come get it!

WE ARE RAD CA-CARPET! ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! You heard right: Thom, Whalen, and CJ5K are back to continue their month-long discussion of fanboy favorite Edgar Wright in anticipation of his just-released film Baby Driver, here covering his woefully underappreciated 2010 comic adaptation Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. But before they get around to smashing baddies and collecting coins, the bad boys of film podcasting unfurl a new segment called Carpet Cleaning, reappraising John Hughes’ beloved 1985 high school drama The Breakfast Club.

Remember, this is a film club, and we want you, our dear listeners, to be part of the club by sharing your takes in the comments section below. Would you put us in Saturday detention over our Breakfast Club takes? Is Scott Pilgrim indeed Wright’s definitive film?

Check out our viewing schedule for the remainder 2017–next month we’ll be watching four films from Korean director Bong Joon-ho, including his new Netflix exclusive Okja. Keep an eye out on this site and on Twitter for our next episode, which will cover the newly released critical darling Baby Driver, as well as review Wright’s work as a whole in another edition of Wall To Wall Carpet. Until then, happy listening– and stay rad!
